Workshops

As well as creating productions, our association plays a significant role in the further training of national and Europien theatre profession. We organize training opportunities for theatre professionals and amateurs with the involvement of international teachers, we lead theatre courses and participate in international educational and research projects.
Our motivation is to support the acquisition and raise the consciousness of established expertise and techniques for a new generation of actors, performers, and theatre practitioners.
Workshop formats
Intensive workshops
These include two- to three-day courses that offer practical insight into a specific methodology. During the workshop, participants learn elements from a particular actor training approach and its toolkit. Each workshop is led by an invited instructor who specializes in the given method.
Weekly Chekhov
A weekly 3-hour actor training in Budapest focusing primarily on techniques based on Michael Chekhov’s method. Each week, participants work with one specific tool through individual and group exercises. This program offers both professional and amateur actors and performers the opportunity to maintain their acting skills, explore new tools, and practice familiar techniques.
International Theatre Workshop Forum
At the International Theatre Workshop Forum in Budapest, workshops are led by experts of the world’s leading acting and actor training methods. The program also includes discussions related to the themes of practical training and continuous professional development, along with carefully selected theatre performances that complement the unique experience.
